Not a career, but something to hold me over until I get done with college. I tried regular jobs, but I don't like the tense work environments.

I am sure you could get work doing something artistic but you would probhably have to market yourself.

If you are good at drawing you could hire yourself out doing web art, but there would be lots of competition. Putting out some freebies would be good.

There are also websites that attach ads to your work (do a web search) and pay you out of royalties each time pictures are downloaded.

If you like clothing design or 3D art you could design and sell clothes or furnishings for "Sims 2"

There are lots of possibilities:

E.g. you could ask people to send you pictures of themselves and post them back a painting or scupture COD.

Or even easier email them back a cartoon of themselves.

Do a search on web banking or web commerce to find out how to get the money to you.

My cousin (from Australia) started as a part time artist, travelled to France to make a name for herself and now is curator for an art gallery in the USA
