I think that you should NOT take these complicated math classes in school if you have to come on YAHOO ANSWERS to have someone else find it out.

r ^ 2 - 36 / (r+60) ^ 2
okay, first you need to distribute the power of 2 to (r+60) and you come up with r^2 + 3600
So now you have r^2-36 / r^2 +3600
Because you are dividing and you have an r^2 on each side, you can eliminate them.
Now you have -36/3600 which equals -.01, in fraction form is -1/100
