As a person who kept many textbooks I never opened again, I would lean towards selling them. Unless you really think that you're going to use them significantly, you don't really need them. Much of the information in them can probably be found on the Internet or there's always the library or a bookstore to look stuff up. If you do sell them, try selling on a textbook website such as Amazon.com because you will get more money by selling directly to other students instead of to the bookstore.
If you're still feeling uncertain maybe you could keep the 1 or 2 best, and sell the other(s).

If they are not for your major - SELL THEM. You will most likely never use them again and they will just sit on a shelf and collect dust. The only possible reason to keep them is if you know an underclassman who will be taking the course in the future. Then you can personally sell your book to them and likely get more money than other sources.

keep them if you like them. If the book store buys them back, you more than likely won't get too much money for them, considering that if you ever want to have them again you're gonna pay so much more than what they bought them from you for. If you do decide that you really want to sell them, I would do it online, not at the school bookstore, cause it's just all around better that way, you may make more and whoever buys them won't have to pay as much as a bookstore. But if you do really like them, just keep em, books are awesome.

If you don't absolutely need to sell them for the money, I would say keep them. You said you like them, and good, informative books are a treasure.

I didn't keep a single book from college and I've never ever wished I had one. If you really need to look something up someday, there's the internet!

If you think you may use them again in the next couple of years, then keep them, but otherwise, sell them. You don't need the clutter.
