I'll assume that you are referring to the USA. Our country was founded on the principle that the government would be by the people, for the people.
today, nothing could be further from the truth. today, the Fed, a non-government private firm controls our money supply, and thus, our economy.
essentially, we are enslaved to our unconstitutional, unapportioned tax collected by the IRS that was never ratified by the states. essentially, we work four months out of the year to support the racket the Fed has going on,

Which Government and which citizens....?
In England they're "Subjects" to the crown. They don't have the same rights we do for gun ownership.
In America we're "Citizens" because we're armed and NOT subject to the whims of the Government.
The further left you go the more powerful the Government becomes and the Individual recedes....
The further right you go, the more powerful the Individual and the Government recedes...
