The government lies...9-11, Pearl Harbor, and...?

So any learned person who listens knows that there is more to 9-11. That the terrorists weren't in Iraq, etc. That we had warnings since the 80's. Pearl Harbor was also somewhat of a conspiracy. The President made a plan to intentionally provoke Japan into "striking first" so that the U.S. could enter war with Europe (which citizens were opposed to). What's another government lie, with about equal standing and importance of these ones?

Oh please, guys. Yeah, everyone's figured it out. I pretty much stated that myself. As for lesser known ones, look it up. Also notice my use of the word "somewhat" when referring to "conspiracy", and that was not about 9-11, either. I do not at all believe everything I hear; I research extensively after hearing something from my dad, who has a friend in the CIA, as well as a friend who worked at the Nevada Testing Facility. I really don't have time for insults or jokes; I need another example for school.

The Persident provoked Japan to get into war with Europe because Europe and Japan were allied. War on Japan would supposedly get Germany to declare war on us.

I am not writing about "conspiracies". I am writing about WAYS THE GOVERNMENT LIES. The facts being that there is much more information than we were given.

Well I guess the JFK assassination comes to mind first as being a major governmental lie. Not many ppl really believe one little man could single-handily assassinate a US president.

As far as what might be next as the next major lie, probably that there won't be a North American Union similar to the European Union. The government is denying this but it is very easy to find information on it. The CFR is actually working on developing this as we speak.

Actually your thinking about Pearl Harbor is way off. Many didn't see Japan striking America as a way to get the US into the European war. Many conspiracy theorists point to the treaty without reading it. Article III states that if attacked the others would come to their defense, not if they were the attacker. Also reading dispatches many in the Japanese high command didn't expect Germany to declare war on the US.

As for provoking, the US actually was using diplomatic and economic methods to get Japan out of China (didn't know that this was provoking?). The very things I hear many clamoring for when dealing with Iran, Iraq, North Korea, sound familiar.

I've read many of these conspiracies of Pearl Harbor and none have changed my mind (something I've been studying for over 25 years). If you were 'learned' you also know to question those who put forth the conspiracies as well.


If you want a way on how the government lies, take a look at congress and the bills they pass. Look at the names of the bills then see what's really in them. Its there that the government lies the most, not in conspiracies that are easily debunked.

Can you PROVE that there is more to 9/11?

Can you PROVE Pearl Harbor was a set up?

Can you prove anything beyond what you picked up off a Youtube video?

Lets see, the Pearl Harbor attack had been in the works since before the oil embargo so how exactly was FDR provoking the Japanese? in fact almost a year before the attack the Japanese bombed an an American ship off the coast of China, that in and of it's self was an act of war yet we did nothing... Why would we ignore an intentional attack a year before pearl if we wanted to go to war already?

BTW we declared war on Japan not Germany, so we would not have gone to Europe, It was the Germans who declared war on us.

So 9/11... I can't even begin to shoot this down without laughing my butt off. Lets just say if you believe the government was involved and yet managed to keep the biggest conspiracy of all times silent for over 6 years then you need medical help.

Look, tell you what, find proof and I will come back and counter your "proof" with facts. till then talk to a doctor, you willbe better for it.

The answer to your question is that there is a huge difference between a politician lying and a politician commiting grossly traitorous, heinous, mass murder.

You're blurring them together. A lot of politicians lie, womanize, & even misappropriate funds. That's Washington.
In fact, everyone lies.
But accusations of mass-murder are ludicrous.

Also, Pearl Harbor wasn't a conspiracy.

Japan was mass murdering Chinese & that's why we started squeezing Japan. In effect, Japan started it & they admit it, even to this day, when they call that period the "dark alley" (attacking China & grabbing territory). We didn't make them do that.

ADDITIONAL INFO ON THE COLLAPSE OF WTC7

The fact that WTC7 collapsed even though it wasn’t hit by the planes is not surprising.

Even though they were NOT hit by the jets, numerous buildings over a wide area were hit by debris from the collapsing towers and were destroyed.

This includes: The Marriott World Trade Center , 6 World Trade Center, 5 World Trade Center, 4 World Trade Center, and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (which wasn’t even in the WTC complex). The Deutsche Bank Building was also outside the WTC complex & was massively damaged, and was declared a total loss in 2004.

As for WTC 7:

WTC7 was only 400 feet from WTC1. Since WTC1 is over 1300 feet tall, as they pealed away, the large perimeter columns from WTC1 struck WTC7 & many other buildings with terrific force due to their high starting position. In addition, WTC7 was built straddling a Con-Edison substation. This meant that its walls had to carry a tremendous amount of force and were vulnerable to impact. In addition, WT7 contained numerous fuel tanks for generators, some holding 6000 gallons of fuel, & this contributed to its destruction.

Finally, at least 6 fires started in WTC7, each of which was described as “large” but there was no water to fight them. The fires were left to burn because the building started to lean and firefighters decided it was too dangerous to enter.

Workers testified that the east side slumped, then collapsed, pulling the rest of the building with it.
