Every pet will have an odor associated with it - even fish. Ever walk into a fish store? It smells kinda funny.

That said there are some pets that are easier to keep odors to a minimum. IMO, they are:

-Chihuahuas - smooth coat - bathed once a month (takes 5 whole minutes)
-Cats - if you clean the litter box daily and use a hooded litter box
-Rabbits - okay, their fur smells good and their poop is odorless but their urine reeks. So house in a wire bottom cage and clean on a regular basis and/or give a litter box and put Marshall's Bi-Odor for rabbits in their water supply.
-Fish - an all in one, 3 - 5 gallon tank kit is nice for a single Betta. They stay sooo clean. Even a single goldfish "dirties up" a tank system pretty quick and you'll need to be diligent about partial water changes, filter changes, etc.

I hope you find a great pet that suits your wants.

Fish like a Beta is good they take up only a little room, they are pretty, you only need 1. The hard thing is cleaning out the tank every week to 10 days and keeping the poor little guy alive. I enjoyed mine when I had it. =) Dogs, and cats smell funny cats are really bad, dogs not as bad but you do have to wash them. That's why I say fish. =)

Pretty much anything that lives under water is not going to have a lot of odor. Cats don't usually have a scent either as long as they keep themselves clean. The litter box can smell bad if not kept clean and if using the wrong litter.

im racking my brain thinking about the many pets I have had in my life and none of them had no odor. lol the cleanest pets I have ever had were a cat and a rabbit but even though they kept themselves clean and fresh they still pooped and my bunny had alfalfa hay and dry food that kinda smelled funny.

Every animal has an odor just like people. Some animals are more offensive than others... reptiles tend to be less offensive than a cat, rodent, or dog. But fish are relatively odorless. *shrugs*

Less odor- turtle.lizard, anything reptilian.

Even fish get stinky.

I have a rabbit. They are very good at cleaning themselves and all you have to worry about is cleaning up after there droppings, which do not smell unless you leave them lying around for more than 4 days.

a freshly dead one...they all have a certian amount of odor it is your job as an owner to keep them clean enough they do not stink. In my opinion small dogs have less odor if you bath them often and they go out for RR breaks.
