Maybe that's is why I am where I am at now, study? What was study? What are we talking about?

We were taught the periodic table in chemistry class by memorizing sentences: HAppy HEalthy LIttle BEtty BOop CAn NOw ORder FIsh. I believe this is way back in my memory bank. Forgot most of physiology.
I do like to hear the song that goes "Don't Know Much About History Books", etc. especially as sung by Harrison Ford in the movie "Witness".

I only remember bits of several subjects I've studied or it's changed so much I had to learn all over. I forgot all the Latin, until I took a class in medical terminology, same with Algebra, until I took a pharmacy tech class. I'm still terrible at geography.

I can't even remember the name of the school but the caretakers name was McNamara(miserable old bastard) and he reported me for going on the school roof to recover a football. And I got the strap off the headmaster in front of the whole school(but I won because my elder brother bought me a Mars Bar on the way home as a reward for not crying. I did not dare tell my Dad because I would have been in worse trouble with him( I think he knew anyway because my sister told my mother everything. Punctuation was always a problem, goodnight all.

I don't remember much chemistry, trig or calculus either. Three Years of Latin have come in handy as has French. So much I studied I have had no use for but they were required courses.

Strangely we don't remember what we don't use. But , hopefully by the time a person gets to senior Citizen age, they have learned how to research those things they want to learn and use... Our brain works much like the condensed files on this computer, After awhile , if we don't uses a file it gets deleted in a disc clean up.

I've forgotten most of my college major (theology). It doesn't matter anyway, no one today would have a clue what I was talking about if I did remember it. Then the emphasis was existentialism (and I can't define that) Now it's something much more touchy feely. (I can't remember what that's called either!)

I know, if you don't use it you lose it. I'm a lawyer so I remember a lot of Latin. I do some carpentry so I remember some geometry, but algebra--forgot it all!

I have forgotten most chemistry, practically all of my physics...none of the English or foreign languages, none of the sociology, social sciences, humanities and psychology..remember most of Greek and Ancient History and most of Algebra and little of geometry.
Ah well...so be it. Ainsi soit il
