That's actually a good question. The knee jerk answer is Brady, but considering what else Favre has on that offense, he would HAVE to be considered for this year. I'm still gonna go with Brady because the numbers are just staggering, but Favre is closer than you would initially think. Heck of a bounceback by Favre too, considering he's coming off 2 seasons where he threw a combined 38 TDs & 47 INTs.

Brady. The Packers would do okay with Aaron Rodgers, but the Patriots would be half the team they are if Matt Cassell started. Brady is more valuable to his team.

I'd also make a case for Derek Anderson as the dark horse candidate. He'll probably win Most Improved Player, anyway.

1. tom brady stats r only thing u need to look at
2.bret favre leader big play ability makes something out of nothing
3.brian westbrook he could run and catch for 1000 yards that would be amazing
4.Adrian Peterson missing 2 weeks means he will need some really big days to win it
5.tony romo i think hes overrated and so is the team but hes 10 and 1 and has good stats but putting him on the packs offence and i think he couldnt do anything

Tom Brady

Farve is more important to their team but Brady is the overall MVP still

Still a really tough call....

Farve has fired that team up, and is playing amazing......

Brady is hands down the team leader, and has the stats....

I'd have to go with Brady, but not by much....

Tom Brady is on pace to having a record shattering year and would be my 1st choice. Randy Moss is comeback player of the year and would be my second choice and Adrian Peterson is my rookie of the year and would be my 3rd choice.
