My candidate brings Freedom & Liberty, and is for holding governments powers to what is reserved in the Constitution. Take a guess who he is.

And NO, I will not trade freedom for security...

I believe that instead of voting on principle, most conservatives are willing to vote for whoever they think can beat whichever democrat becomes the nominee.

With that in mind, I doubt anyone lends actual seriousness to the though that Ron Paul has a snowballs chance in hell of winning. He may represent ideals that are fine and dandy, but his strident delivery and semi-dubious endorsements do not pass muster at the national candidate level.

Support Ron Paul tooth and nail in the primaries...but when the rubber meets the road in Nov. 08, I would suggest supporting whoever is on the GOP ticket to keep a full blown liberal 3 ring circus from coming to fruition.

I like Ron Paul as well, but my number one choice is Obama. First and foremost, he is probably the smartest candidate. He went to Columbia undergrad and Harvard for grad school. He has a good head on his shoulders and I trust him to run things wisely.
Secondly, he is a dynamic and electrifying orator. He has strong leadership qualities and knows how to get people's support. He is undeniably the best speaker out of all the candidates.
Thrid, despite his political inexperience in the Senate, he has an impressive resume. After all, he was a community organizer, then a lecturer at the University of Chicago, a civil rights lawyer, an Illinois State Senator, and now in the US Senate.
Fourthly, I truly believe him to be a good guy. He is open and honest in his campaigns, friendly and yet he shows strong character and conviction.
5th, he is not Hilary Clinton lol.
6th, he is a young and fresh candidate that brings a certain youtfulness and dynamicisim to politics that no one else can offer. He has a vision for America and a new direction to steer it there.

Ron Paul have excellent views on critical issues besetting the country and he could be a worthy opponent of Hillary Clinton of the Democrats.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

I have not made up my mind, but Ben Franklin to start, naw, I really do not know what they all stand for and better get it together. Main things I look for are border security, balance some type of budget and resolve Iraq in a Good outcome way. Take care.

I'm still doing research...but John McCain is heading my list right now.

Border control -
I feel...very important for U.S. economics.
He feels a secure border is an essential element of our national security.

2nd Amendment -
I feel law abiding citizens should be able to purchase/own/use guns. If you want to ban guns....ban cars and doctors, too! They kill more people than guns do.
He opposed gun/ammo control. He believes in strict mandatory penalties for violators.

Veterans -
I believe our Veterans have fought for Our
Freedom. They should be held up to the highest esteem!
He believes that it is our duty as a nation to provide our veterans, with the benefits that we have promised them and that they have earned and deserve.

Iraq - I feel we can NOT just "pull out"
of Iraq. I know that I'm probably in the
minority, but I feel that we need to keep
control and to keep additional cells of terrorists from entering the U.S.
He feels it is crucial to focus military efforts on insurgents, particularly against Sunni fighters using violence to strengthen their political position, He also believes there must be a greater emphasis on non-military components promoting economic development and representative, accountable governance.

Government spending - I feel with him saving us millions of dollars so far and not wanting to spend $1million on a Woodstock museum... These are things we need to hear.
He has steadfastly fought to reform this broken system and end the self-serving largesse that defines the current budget process.

These are a few of the topics....but I don't want to rant.

well, i am screwed cuz i am a kucinich guy and almost everything that he goes for bucks everyone else. unfortunately his(and my) wants for this country don't seem very popular.

that kinda leaves me with either Billary or a Republican. i'll prolly go republican just cuz of how Billary screwed us GLBTs last time they were in office.

I will vote for Hillary Clinton, because she has a plan for ending the war. You can read it at:

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/iraq/

I expect her to run against Rudy Giuliani, who, in addition to a track record of lying and cheating, has a plan for keeping us in Iraq, so that he and his buddies in the Republican Party can continue to get rich. You can read it at:

http://www.joinrudy2008.com/commitment/indepth/4

If you would like to know more about the personal life of Clinton's opponent, and why I say he has a track record of lying and cheating, see the section under "Personal Life" in the Wikipedia article, "Rudy Giuliani."

To summarize, in addition to having both a plan and a clue, Clinton is not Giuliani.

That's what she brings to the table.

My candidate brings sanity into the illegal alien crisis! NO ONE else is that much of a bull dog on this issue. This is what we need.

I like Tom Tancredo!!!

BTW, this is not a question. It is a rant for Ron Paul!
