And....somethimes a case of hives. On predinsone, but still wonders if anyone knows of a holistic or natur-pathic method of relieving the itching--hydorcortozine is off as is anything that can absorb into the baby's system....thanks!

my ob said benedryl cream was okay when I had it. Definately no oatmeal baths, they only help while your in the tub and then its a pain to clean the tub out. I switched to Dial antibacterial soap and it cleared up before I had the baby.

i Had that when i was pregnant i had it on the 9 mth before the baby was here..i am sorry she has that because it drive me crazy i couldn't stop itching i did an oatmeal bath it helped for a little while..but then the itching came back the itching will stop soon..the doctor can gave her something for it so have her call them..nothing over the counter i would get with the doctors permission.. does she have little red dots if so tell her try like crap not to itch becuse thats makes it worse try to keep her from not being to hot to it makes the itching wrose..

OMG i know how she feels! I had the same thing all over my belly and behind my knees and wrists! I was up all night itching! All day itching! I hated life LOL!!! I tryed evrything but the only thing that helped me was benedryl. Doc gave me the ok to take it. Luckily i had my son 2 weeks b4 he was due although PUPPS eventually subsided... b4 i had him. DO NOT TRY OAT MEAL BATH! makes it soooo much worse!

The best should be just buy cream to put over the itch. Dont keep scratching it ok?

WHAT??????? Prednisolone will hurt the baby!
Try calamine lotion. or Bepanthen cream. What is wrong with her stupid gp giving her that?
