Ok, so my parents are into unique art. So they were the 3rd people to buy this really unique, 1,000 lb wooden clock. Everyone who has bought this clock has had trouble getting it to work. So the guy who designed the clock made a video and he said if you have any problems, please send the clock back to me and i'll see what I can do. It still wasn't working for us, so my parents paid over $300 to send the dang thing back. We let the guy know in advance that we were sending it, and he said that was fine. So we sent it across the country, to New York, and he said he would pick it up. Then he just totally stopped talking to us, out of nowhere, and he never picked the clock up. So we paid all that money to buy the clock and send it and he never picked it up. What are we supposed to do? We can't afford to keep trying to send it back!!! HELP!

There are government agencies that can charge this merchant. Contact the police, Fraud Squad, you most certainly have been swindled. The bottom line is to take this individual to Small Claims Court, (up to 5G), you will win, if he doesn't show for Court, you will win by default. Go for the highest claim. Then lay a Lien on his property. When and if he every trys to sell his, home, car, business Your father will be paid first. Hope this help you out.

Well that's a pretty clear sign this guy is an a**! maybe try and find someone else who can possibly fix it, even though this guy designed it doesn't mean there isn't someone closer to you all that can fix it, I know that's letting this guy off the hook but it's better than spending money to send it to New York and having this guy dodge you, maybe it was never meant to work he sounds like a scammer, I would call the police station and have his name on file just incase he is going around scamming other people too!

People let you down in life. It stinks.
Did your parents buy it from a reputable company? If so they can make a claim. If it was just from someone unknown, then they will have learnt the hard way that there are no come-backs with such purchases.

You should file a law suit against him.
I'm not a law person, so I don't really know exactly for what (-bricked-), but I'd guess for like, conning you or something.
>.<
I is no help at all.

Sounds like you got scammed. Better luck next time. ( I mean that sincerely, not sarcastically).
