Doubt it

No, you won't die (but maybe get absolutely scared) It is a quote to get you thinking: " What happens if you get scared half to death twice?" The only possible way is if you have a fear of being afraid which is called Counterphobia and the situation gets THAT serious. It's beyond fear. That is probably the only possible way. But I may be wrong! I would understand if you did not agree with this answer however. Please feel free to share your opinion.

if you twice go halfway from L.A. to N.Y.C.,
do you arrive in N.Y.C. the second time?

after the first time you got scared half to death, you returned to full life. what you need is someone to scare you the other half the way to death immediately after the first scaring, before you've had a chance to recover. experiments have shown this to be nearly impossible (i.e. there haven't been any successes yet)

No, very interesting question though.

There is however logic behind my theory and that is that the researches at the university of Toronto did a study and realized that the second time you get scared half to death, it's really only a quarter because it is half of a half, because you are already half dead.

So no.

No. The first time you're scared half to death, you'd be one-half the way to dead. the second time, you'd be half way from where you are, that is, one quarter alive (Based on your original 100% alive). If you got scared half to death again, you'd be 12.5% alive. While you'd never reach zero this way, eventually I'd assume you'd have so little life left as to be virtually dead.

Let's do this mathematically.
health - 1/2 health - 1/2 health = 0

But there is a function of healing
H(t) = 3t, such that t is time measured in seconds and H(t) is health gained for that specific time. H(t) is measured in fraction of the health.
So I gain health for a certain period of time.

Let's suppose we have a 0.5 second waiting.
We have to add all health gained for 0.5 seconds.

Integral (0 to 0.5) 3t dt
(3/2)(t^2) from 0 to 0.5
Health gained = 3/8
3/8 of our health is gained.

health - 1/2 health + 3/8 health - 1/2 health = 3/8 health
This is only for 0.5 seconds.

if you are scared half to death the first time then there is only half of you left. so then when you are scared half to death again only half of what is left dies. you would then be left with 1/4 of you original self. :) lol

Hmmmmmm. Good question. I never took the time to think this one out. I guess since it was only scared half to death & you had full recovery, no.

not if it did not take place one time actual after the different because of the fact it may've given you time to recover from the marvel so which you does not be scared "a million/2 to death" anymore, basically like one fourth to death if the 2nd scare got here approximately quickly.

no, because half of half-scared-to-death is still only 1/4 scared to death! :P
