Jill, I had a wise man tell me a long time ago that it is better to have a dull pencil than a sharp mind.
In other words, make a list, and cross it off when it is done. That frees your mind from having to remember everything.
If you're like me, I tend to forget some things, if I have a lot on my mind.
good luck.

I think that sometimes we have so much on our plates, or in this case our minds, that it is overwhelming. I tend to forget what I am suppose to do like today, (pay the car insurance). With old age I have to write things down. Yes, it does seem that the mind is so full that I just have to take that mental break and regroup.

Most of the time it's so full that I get headache.
You may think it's not functioning babe but it's still working, I think it's just taking a brake , it happens to me also.

Sure, sometimes you can overload on information and just blank out when too much is going on upstairs... take me for example, I have college finals this week. Sometimes I get a brain fart over simple things

Yeah, it's like all of a sudden with all of the thoughts rushing through I can't concentrate on one of them, so I just don't concentrate at all, it's like it malfunctions or something.
That happens when I'm under a lot of stress, which is why when I'm under stress I leave whatever it is I'm doing and I sleep. I know I won't do....whatever well.

My mind definitely is full! The biggest problem I have is trying to figure out fact from fiction*
I have people playing with my mind & emotions!
