And then the next minute he is an imbecile? I don't understand how a group of people call him an idiot and then they say he fooled the country and is behind conspiracies hiding information. If he really is such a fool, how could he fool black pants suit girl from NY into voting for the Iraq war?

That's why they hate him so much. He doesn't fit their model of someone they think is smart, so they can't understand his success. But I suspect that hate a lot of people that don't fit their model. Strange since they try to sell themselves as being for diversity.

One doesn't need to be smart to be evil. Also he has his puppeteers (Cheney, Rove etc.) who are the real evil geniuses. Bush is just the front for those evil doers. He is an imbecile every minute.

You're mixing two different groups of people...mainstream Americans think he's a moron, it's only the extremist liberals who think he is pulling off any kind of conspiracy...and even if the government was doing that, it would only be because of the other people around him.

When you listen to him (or more disturbing still, watched him talk with the sound off), it's hard not to conclude he's a grade-A moron...unless of course the person watching is even dumber

He's not the mastermind of anything. His corruption is in his cooperation.
