A bag contains a total of 24 red and green pappers. the probability of reaching into the bag and choosing a red pepper is 2/3. How many peppers of each color are in the bag?

Hello,

The probability is the number of red peppers say (x) to the total number of peppers 24 so we have x/24 = 2/3 then solving for x gives us x = 48/3 = 16 so there are 16 red peppers and 24 -16 = 8 green peppers.
