A broken heart concerns emotion while a broken leg is a physical pain. While emotional pain can be controlled with the will of a mind, physical pain cannot be controlled except when one takes medication to ease the pain. I think it really depends on the individual. .. on how one is strong or weak to take in the physical pain and endure while it lasts. Others may find a broken heart really terrible and can't withstand the numbing pain within, the reason why others end their suffering by ending their lives.

Anyway, for me, a broken heart is less painful.

What is less painful?
Emotionally it's the broken heart. They say that time heals all the pain, do they? Maybe if you have the right formula to cure the pain, it will help ease the pain quickly. But no such thing, no guarantee when will the pain go away. That must be a complete luck.
Physical is broken leg. Ouch that is real pain where you need a real doctor to help you. A matter of healing process but there is a certain end of recovering.

It's not the less pain that wil make a person more appreciating, or glad, we just wish we don't have to experience such pain at all in our life.

To me, it is a broken heart because to love is a choice and we have to face its consequences while a broken leg is an accident which is uncontrollable. When you have a broken heart you can still move around and enjoy life while with a broken leg, you are "static" till it heals. The thought of having a light steel on you is not easy to accept because it entails pain especially when cold. Who would like a broken leg. It is very expensive in job and opportunity lost because you are forced to take a leave and stay alone and bear the difficulties alone especially if no one to assist and comfort you. Nobody would help you to heal your leg, you have to take care of the healing alone or else it might be amputated and it is the worst thing to happen. At present, I have a broken leg but not many got it to bear the damage forever. Almost all of us have experienced a broken heart, may experience it time again and again depending on our choice in life.

For me broken heart is less painful than broken leg..
I can stand the pain of a broken heart as long as I have my family and friends with me..

I am more vulnerable physically. I wince even on small cuts or bruises so what more a broken leg?

With a broken leg, you know that it will heal and the pain will go away in a short amount of time.
With a broken heart,in time, the pain may go away, but, the heart, once broken, can never fully mend.

I have broken bones in my body and my heart has been broken a few times too, so I can say with certainty that a broken heart is less painful.

I can't dull that physical pain, and its magnitude never decreases every time injury is sustained and the pain is inflicted. But hurt lessens at each instance of a broken heart, because the heart grows stronger and becomes pain-tolerant.

Depends on how fast the broken something heals.

I have a friend who had a broken heart who got into another hot relationship in 2 weeks, in fact feeling that the break-up was heaven-sent. That she didn't have to sing "It is sad to belong to someone else when the right one comes along". Because the right one (the better one) came along almost in the heels of the breakup. Apparently, the guy was patiently waiting for his turn to go after this girl of his dreams. He didn't court the girl before, respecting the previous relationship.

Now, a broken leg would hurt more painfully, and longer than the pain of her (short-term) broken heart.

If you have a broken leg.......you can medicate the pain and it will heal in a relatively sort time...... the memory will fade.

If you have a broken heart.......no medication takes away the pain........it can take years for you to recover...... fear of another broken heart can change how we relate to others affecting your entire life.

Obviously a broken leg "hurts" less.

I haven't had a broken leg so I can't tell.

Probably I'll go with the broken heart. There are many girls out there who will love me, but I only have one pair of legs.

Having had both I would say a broken leg. After it was set it stopped hurting. A broken heart hurts for much longer.
