What's the national average?
As for me I have moved my residence about 20 times in 14 years, but a lot of those were when in the military and I was 'moving' every 6 months or so, plus after military and school I have moved for work 3 times in the last year and a half... I have gotten very good at boxing things up.

What is the national average. I have moved 9 times already since turning 18. I am 23. It is pathetic and I can't stand moving. If I have to move again I am gonna shoot myself!!! I wish I could buy a home.

I don't know...what's the average? I room-mated for a short time, got married and lived in an apartment, moved into a house, my spouse and I stayed with my family in San Diego for a short while to get on our feet, then we moved into apartments, and have changed apartments since our move.
So I guess at least 6 times and I am 29. I first moved out when I was 19.
