Not sure if infact the two are actually modified cultivers. Being maybe the Lace Lady is actually a modified Tortuosa? Looking for a nice quick growing lush tree, but would prefer something safe for kids to be around.

Robinia Totuosa tends to grow taller but their height varies with climate so data available is conflicting. I hope the sites below can help.

Robinia pseudoacacia Black Locust 'Tortuosa' small with twisted branches . 'Lace Lady' lacy foliage,twisted shoots,does not flower,8' to 10' high.Dirr,M.......'Tortuosa' is probably taller. both probably have thorns
