To forward some ports to play Halo i need to know what my PC's IP is. I already know my routers IP i know it will be like 192.168.1.x

Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt.
Type ipconfig and hit enter
ip address is yours and default gateway is routers

To forward ports reliably you will have to make the PC's IP address static.
Go into the network properties, choose an IP in the range available from the router, such as 192.168.1.20.
Go into the router and select a range of address for DHCP, and make it bigger than the computer, start at .40 for example.
You will also need your DNS values for the computer's properties.

Open a command prompt, type "ipconfig /all" (without the quotes) to get all the info.

The most simple method is to right click on your connections icon in the notification area, select Status, click on the Support tab, and it is right there.

go into command prompt and type in ipconfig it will show you your IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.
