What's the word for something that does not belong in the time. Example: if you were watching a movie that takes place in the 19th century and one of the characters goes to their computer to surf the web. Obviously that couldn't have happened back then, but I know there's a word for it. I just can't think of it! Thanks.

Anachronism. Anac a prefix meaning out of sequence or place. Chron = time order. ism = belonging to. I think this is the one you want.
