A doctor who had been seeing an 80 year old lady for most of her life retired.
The new doc looked through her records and was suprised to see she had been prescribed birth control pills for years.

When he asked her why she needed them. she replied, "They help me sleep at night"
The doc said told her there was nothing in them that would make her sleep.

The lady said " Yes dear, I know that, but every morning I crush one up and mix it in a glass of juice for my 16 year old grandaughter,

Believe me! THAT helps me sleep at night!"

Wish my granny had done that to me. I got pregnant at 16 and it was not the way I had planned on living my life. Don`t get me wrong I love all my kids but I wanted to go in the navy.

Sylvia, we don't hear from you nearly enough, but when we do, it's always worth the wait! Thanks for the laugh. Too bad we couldn't have orange juice like that when we were kids! (Or am I the only one old enough to remember when there weren't pills?)
