I'm going to have to go with Monta Ellis. Ellis is a better slasher then Barbosa, shoots for a better free throw percentage currently, about the same amount of points per game with Barbosa averaging about 18 and Ellis at 17. Barbosa turns the ball over a little bit more but averages a little bit more steals per game. So they're pretty even in regards to the players they are, but I think Ellis has him beat just for the simple fact on what Ellis did against Phoenix by scoring 15 straight points against them with a variety of moves.

Leandro Barbosa

both are pretty good...theyre very similar...both are shooting guards in a point guards body. the difference is barbosa is a better free throw and 3 pt shooter than ellis but ellis is a much better finisher and im not sure barbosa is quicker than ellis either. remember ellis dunked on barbosa last year. ellis is more athletic and is probably stronger than barbosa and ellis is a better passer than barbosa. you never see barbosa pass, all you see him do is shoot. ellis can pass the ball and get more steals than barbosa can. plus ellis is younger. id rather have monta over leandro.

I would say that monta ellis is better. Sure Leandro is called the Brazilian blur i still think monta is faster. And in yesterdays game he should that he was clutch. He made 15 straight point in the fourth and like last year when monta dunked on him. That was GREAT!

Barbosa the Beast. I am a Mavericks fan, and whenever we play the Suns, I am always scared of when Barbosa gets the ball. He is probably one of the two or three fastest players in the league when he drives to the basket. AND, he can drop bombs from 3 point land to go with that. Impossible to guard effectively. Go Mavs
