Make a T-chart of the following and graph it, and tell me three things about the graph that do not include function information.
f (x) = -2^x (the x is superscript above the 2

I know how to make a T-chart, just pick numbers for x and solve for y. and graph it, am I correct? what would be the 3 things that are not functional information?
thanks if you can answer.

f(x) = -2^x

Note: the exponent takes precedence so this is the same as:
f(x) = -1 * 2^x
or
f(x) = 0 - 2^x

So when you figure out values for your T-chart, always take the negative last:

X ... Y
---------
-3 | -1/8
-2 | -1/4
-1 | -1/2
0 | -1
1 | -2
2 | -4
3 | -8

Anyway, if you graph it, you see that it is:

It is continuous
It is decreasing
It crosses the y-axis at -1
It has a horizontal asymptote of y = 0 (meaning it never goes above the x-axis)
It has a domain of -inf < x < inf
It has a range of -inf < y < 0
It gets steeper as you move right
Every point has a negative slope

What other facts can you see in the following graph?
