1. This is a very long history, but I'll try the short version. They had some pretty large obstacles to face when they were starting out. They were all relatively poor growing up in partially destoryed shipping town after the war. They didn't all go to the same school, John was three years older than George and didn't particularly like him at first. They had trouble finding a consistant drummer and only started playing with Ringo in the studio, because Pete Best was unreliable. The original bass player Stu wasn't a bass player as much as an artist and was, well...bad. Even after they some publicity there were very few places to play. They took small trips around Europe, one trip to Hamburg resulting in the deportation of an underaged George Harrison. Even once they were famous there were a lot of people that weren't big on thier music style or hair-cuts. It was tough for them coming over to a foreign country.
2. Ringo is very alive.
3. Whether people want to admit it or not, the music of the Beatles influenced ALL the music that occured after them. Even if a particular band doesn't like the Beatles, the bands they do like were influenced by them. They were innovators in the studios and provided the foundation for several different types of music today. Outside of music, John Lennon took big stides in influencing the public's views on things like civil rights and war. He was monitored by the FBI who attepted to deport him several times. He was a very liberal free-thinker who influenced the thoughts of millions.
4. They were sarcastic kids from Liverpool. They were friendly and funny as far as anyone could tell. I'm not sure how to answer this question.
5. The Beatles are the best-selling musical group of all time. They spent the highest number of weeks at number one in the albums chart, they have had more number one albums than any other group (19 in the U.S. and 15 in the UK). At one point they held the top 5 spots on the top 100. There are a ton more, but you clearly have the internet so look them up!

ringos not dead, only george and john are. some obstacels would be leaving their homeland to come to a strange one to make a living as a band and as history tells, they made out well, writing credits im sure were a problem for a while. their impact was huge because for several years in the 60s, they were the talk of almost every household. their personalities, like everyone, were different, but they made it work as a band and i think their accomplishments speak for themselves

Ringo is not dead, his b-day is July 7, 1940, he is 67 years old and looks better than Paul, who is 2 years younger. As far as Beatle info, type it in a search bar and you will find plenty, or go to Barnes & Noble and get a book about them, there's lots to pick from.

The Beatles were the first "boy band" ever! Nobody could get 12 year old girls screaming like the did while singing the most sickeningly sappy teen bubble gum pop in the history of POP music!
With songs like the following......
yesterday
she loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
love, love me do
I want to hold your hand
and I love her
can't buy me love
yellow submarine
all you need is love
WHY are they considered a "rock" band? Sure they had some mildly rock'n tunes but for the most part they were all pop!
