I am assuming you are wondering because you'll have your spouses income to work with. The answer is no. Your child is not your spouses financial obligation. Same goes if the custodial parent gets married, you will not owe less because that person has someone to help with bills because the new spouse is also not financially responsible for your child. I hope that helps:)

No, child support is an agreement between mom and dad only,no matter how many times they remarry. Their new spouses income is never figured into the equation, but however if dad gets a raise or inherits a good sum of money, this alone could effect the amout of child support

It depends on which state you live in...
Some states (TN & PA)- see it like this: Once you get married you are one union and you therefore take on the benefits and the obligations of your spouse- including child support. On that note- they will also take into consideration your ex's current spouse and their income.

Other states (MS)- see it like this: Your new spouse had nothing to do with creating that child therefore he/she is in no way financially or otherwise obligated to care for the child.

Only if your income increases by a certain amt. Check with your local Child support office.

I think you need to check the rules in your state. It could be in some states that if your income increases because of the marriage then perhaps you will have too. Check with your local court house or a lawyer.
