after this year i would like to see moss much wiser...and it seems hes heading that way with the way he has been talking this year...if he were to take a PAY CUT next year in order to bring in more talent he would completely have my respect again, i can say that much for sure

The same as he is being payed this year!! While Moss has gotten on well with the Pat's, it doesn't mean he will get along well with other teams, which mean that teams would be paying him to sit out. If that something other teams are willing to do, over bid the Patriots and risk not having him play??? I don't think team will be willing to risk it.
He will also like the superbowl ring, if they make it. Then of course he would want to try another repeat.

If they go to the Super Bowl, probably not much. The only thing that equals Moss' greed, is his ego. Actually, I don't think he is that greedy. The chance to be in the Super Bowl a couple times in the next years is a big draw for Moss.

I think they offer him the same deal he got this year. I think the Pats go 19-0, and if they do, and Moss comes back, there will be free agents all over the league wanting to play for the Pats for a chance for a ring. The dynasty rolls on.

Seeing how, he took a cut in pay, to play for the Patriots, I don't think he'll want to leave any time soon.. he's playing on a team, he likes, with players and a coach he respects... he'll likely be getting a superbowl ring this year, and who knows, maybe even one next year, or the year after....

Based on what he was making in Oakland and how much of a cut he took, I believe that number will be around $20m. If the Patriots make it to the playoffs and the Super Bowl, they might pay even more.

I hope they have some cap room, because I don't think he'll play for $500,000 again next year. I'm guessing it'll cost 'em around $4 - 5 mil a year to keep him. I don't think he'll get as big of a contract as TO did with Dallas (he gets a little over $8 mil a year).

Honestly I believe if they win the Superbowl (which they will) he is going to retire. But if he doesn't it probably won't be much considering how he took that pay cut to play for the Pats this year.

Depends if they win a championship or not.

If they do. heck, he might even retire! Although, regardless, NE will get a nice Championship Calibur discount for him.. he did take quite a pay cut to come there.
