Birth & Death records are normally at the County Clerks Office. However, you likely won't be able to see originals. Most have been reduced to digital or fiche or microfilm over the years. The best you'll be able to get is a certified copy, which is as good as an original.

Scott is right. But you might also try the county health dept. In Pensacola you can view and get copies of birth and death records of Escambia County. If the records are really old you can also try Tallahassee State records. They would probably be on Microfilm or fiche. Good Luck.
