Do people understand that the only companies that make money from carbon credit trading (or whatever you want to call it) are the companies that do right by the environment and don't need to buy credits?
Do they understand that Al Gore's movie sold so well because people obviously agree that George Bush's policies have neglected the environment for too long?
Do people understand that Al Gore did not "invent" either global warming nor the internet?
Do they understand that there is a big money-making scheme going on that would be disrupted by environmentalism? (That would be fossil fuel dependance.)
Driving your Hummer is just plain uncaring and irresponsible anyway you look at it.
Your thoughts?

Well one thing is for sure, the people making those claims, don't realize he has donated all the proceeds he has raised to environmental causes.
And hey, even if he is getting more money than God from it, I'd rather someone be making money off of making things more environmentaly friendly, and more sustainable, than making record profits dumping toxic emissions into our water and air.
Sure, I'll go along with "global Warming " being a hoax, so now how about we just preserve our planet and quit poisoning our environment for the heck of it?

Putting down Gore for flying around in his private jet, having a big house, selling carbon credits, making a movie, being fat, saying he invented the Internet etc. is what people do when they can't refute science. Though there may be a sliver of truth in one or two of those claims, none of them change the reality of human caused global warming.

You see Neocon, you have "reverse mind" decease. Which means good=bad, bad=good, right=wrong, wrong=right, etc. If such an honorable, hard working and honest individual as Al Gore is fighting Global Warming so that even your children and your grandchildren will not suffer because of your buddies large industrial corporations which keep polluting our environment which causes Global Warming, you keep smearing and demonizing Nobel Prize winner, Al Gore. But when your blood thirsty, lying, evil and criminal duo of Bush and Cheney invaded Iraq under false pretenses and because of them over one (1) million of Iraqi people such as men, women and children died because criminal Bush and Cheney want to steal and to pump Iraqi oil you calling them heroes. You see American people during the past 7 years learned the hard way who really Republican Neocons are. So grow up.

The people who disagree with this would sooner see some one make an honest living like an oil company CEO or a hedge fund manager.
I know most conservatives don't believe in Global warming but when did they forget to be conservative about the environment?

Why are we having these American political Qs when we are in YA ...UK and Ireland? With the greatest respect to my American cousins, we in the UK and Ireland are unable to refer to the person you name or to a State policy. On a human level we are all the same, but when it needs political or legislative answers we are in the dark. No offence intended, we just feel unqualified to answer.

algore is a seriously troubled individual. if you read and/or listen to what the man says he is really mentally disturbed. most of your premises are wrong as well. just because a movie does well does not reflect agreement. "Zodiac" did well. does that mean people support serial killers? it seems to me there is more money to be made changing the way we live to support some kock-a-maney straw dog. go to wikpedia, type in global warming, scroll to the bottom of the page. listed are 3-4 dozen scientist that put algores' theory of global warming into the toilet. I don't believe you're interested in the truth, you're interested in what "feels" good.
