Yes but not until this decade.

Before the Bush Jr Administration, it seemed we, family and friends, were always able to just agree to disagree. Now, it seems impossible.

I have even stopped communicating completely with a long-time old college friend who happens to be far extreme right. In the past we just didn't talk about politics and got together quite often. A few years ago, we were emailing and it just seemed to be mutual that we both stopped. I think it is because both of us see the current situation as the most serious crisis in American history.

No - but my obsession with revealing the corruption in Government has taken a toll on it!

Since the failures of National Security and the CIA on 9/11 all the way up and through to todays failures - I am like a man on fire!

If she hears Bush, Beck, O'Reilly, Cheney or Limbaugh one more time think it could be the last time we talk

She agrees with everything I talk about, she just can't stand hearing about it anymore

It has cut about 50% of our alone time with me watching Faux News, CNN, rense.com, listening to prison planet and everything else. It just takes up a lot of time.

Maybe its finally time to just let America go down the drain and enjoy what is left of my Middle/Upper Class life.

My fear is for the future of my son, or I would!

I broke up with my French boyfriend last year partly because of political differences. I just couldn't see spending the rest of my life with someone who thinks it's okay to kill babies, etc.

Several acquaintances who support Bush and the war in Iraq no longer talk to me. It started soon after the whole "Mission Accomplished" thing followed by Abu Ghraib.

It depends on who I am dealing with and how personal you and they take it. I have a staunch Christian Fundamentalist Republican friend. We have lively talks that include humor. There are others I won't even consider talking politics with.
