I saw the Southern Lights in Silver City, New Mexico maybe 25 years ago. They were varying shades of red and awe inspiring.

I see them a lot! I live in Northern Minnesota & they are awesome! Very colorful. They seem to be brighter in the winter months, but I'm not into science so I don't know why. The farther north that you, go the brighter they are (obviously)& the best place I've seen them is in Grand Marais, MN...It's a little tourist town on the north shore of lake Superior. If you can hack the cold, come & visit! You will think that the N-lights are fake when you first see them. Ok so we're not Sweden or Alaska, but MN is really beautiful & most people here are pretty cool & fun to party with!

Yes, I have. The Northern is one of the most beautiful things in the world. It's like shimmering light in different colours in the sky. I can stare at it forever. It's common to see them up here in Sweden near the arctic circle. In Sthlm you can only see it like once per year.

Yes, and at times , they are awesome, You need to be out of the city and away from lights to get the real experience.
