Ok say i have a picture with me in my bedroom where its not so bright and i cut myself out and want to place me on a beach or something where the light is differnt than my room obviously the beach will be alot more brighter due to the sun....how could i make "me" seem brighter or seem like i am actually there?? is there anything else i would need to do to make the apperience that im actually on the beach????

Try to find a beach picture with the sun at the same angle as the light in your bedroom. Get the bedroom picture and increase the contrast. Adjust colors for color temperature. Chances are your bedroom light is incandescent, and more yellow. Up the blues in the picture to make it look like there was a sky.

You might smear some talcum powder on (before the picture) or whites spots (after, with GIMP) to make it look like you have beach sand on.

If the beach shot has lots of white sand (in the background) this will throw off automatic exposure and make a person in the foreground look dark, especially if he has a tan.
