YES!, I mean sometimes my friends ask me questions and ask for an honest answer and then when I give it to them they would get mad at me and I'd be like: wtf?!, you asked for an honest answer and you got it, if you wanted me to lie don't ask me to give an honest answer!, Gah! I hate it when that happens!...

Yeah. 99% of people who ask for your honest opinion really want you to give them the answer they want to hear. I hate the ones that are like "Am I pretty? Please give your honest opinion." Then flip out on people who tell them they're unattractive.

i think that maybe when some people give there opinion.. they maybe to blunt and some people may not be ready for the truth even though they ask the question....When people ask a question on the internet.. they should be ready for all kinds of answers to come back whether they want to hear it or not..

well, normally i don't give an honest answer. like on the questions "am i pretty?" , usually i answer truthfully, but if they are ugly, i don't want to make them mad at me, so i say they are pretty anyways!!!

I used to. But then I figured that
1/ They have opened your question and at least read it
2/ You have prompted them to at least give an answer, even if they don't agree with you
3/ Sometimes it's nice to get under the skin of people like that, don't you agree? lol

Yes, it's annoying. That's because they were expecting you to say what they wanted to hear and didn't imagine you'd think differently.
