To make the most money with the least amount of effort:
Invent and patent something that becomes popular.
Get a doctorates degree and use it.
Those are the legal/moral ways.
Stand on a street corner and ask for money (I did this when I was homeless..... tons of cash.... over $100.00 per hour easy)
Less ethical ways:
Manufacture drugs
Sell drugs
The above two only work if you are 100% clean (i.e. NEVER use them)
Many other ways, depending on the risk you are willing to take....
Making money does not require hard work, only risks. I may not be rich, but I live on 50k per year in unearned income, and do nothing illegal.

If you just want people to send you checks in mail for doing little or nothing then find a scam. Keep in mind most scams are illegal and all of them are at least immoral.
If you're thinking about an honest living then find what it is you really like to do. The best way not to work is to find something so enjoyable it feels like play.
I can think of two friends one a stock broker the other a building manager. Both of them love their work so much you'd think they were having sex at the office. They are both grew up in a grubby lower middle class town in NJ and today are multi millionaires.

Wrong question.
What's the best way to never have to worry about money?
1. get a job (or two) and work hard, get promotions, etc
2. spend money only on necessities, not on luxuries and fancy stuff (cable, beer, vacations, concert tickets)
3. Save and invest wisely.
That's all there is. No easy "lazy man's" way to get rich - those are all either illegal, total ripoffs, or incredibly risky

To make money and lots of it, you have to invest your time, and lots of it!! There are no free lunches, and if you look at people who have lots of money, you will see people like Trump, who never stops working; Oprah Winfrey, who has her hand in every pot available and is always looking for more ways to make a million more; self employed people, who never get time off because they ARE their business; doctors, who don't sit and read novels...they study hard and then they work hard.
Maybe you could find out what your passions are in life, educate yourself in that field, and make money WHILE being happy. The happiest people are the richest; the richest aren't always happy.

Have extremely wealthy parents who don't care whether or not you are a useful productive human being.
The second best way is to find something you really love to do and then find a way to get paid for it. That way, you'll never really feel like you're working.
If all you care about is the money, you'll never be happy anyway, so don't bother.

If you find out what it is let me know.
Making movies. Being a rapper or a singer or if you can sing go on American idol. Maybe you could actually win and get a contract.
Other than that you have to work like the rest of us.

the best way is to get involved with organized crime. Big dealers can make $25,000 a day without lifting a finger. Or you can get a real job and make that much in a year.

let others work for you... and you get all the money....like this:
pay someone to build a website..find what people want and make that website their dream.... then add advertisements from google(adsense) and maybe other people (monthly)..and if it grows good enough...you just sit and wait for the money to come....the rest of your life....
ALL THESE THINGS CAN BE DONE BY OTHERS, AND YOU GET ALL THE CREDIT AND $$$

Buy assets that pay you income monthly. When you have acquired enough assets such as real estate or stocks with dividends that pay you enough to cover your living expenses, you will no longer need to work.
