I don't know why but it sure gives me reason to not vote for him. Not like I was going to be voting for him.

I agree that if he is unable to pledge allegience to this country by holding his hand over his heart, then he will not get my vote.

How could I vote for a man who may not protect this country that he has no allegience to?

That would truly scare me!

You should REALLY stop listening to Rush Limbaugh, he is lying to you yet again. Even if this WERE true, how is this issue more important than Bush's failure to capture or kill the man who admitted responsibility for the deaths of almost 3,000 US citizens over 6 years ago? Why is Osama bin Laden still free?

Barack Obama was not reciting the Pledge of Allegience, he was listening to the "National Anthem", and it is not a sign of, nor a lack of, patriotism to simply stand respectfully with your hands at your sides, as he did.

It is quite interesting to look at the liberals' responses. "So" - that in and of itself shows the kind of blatant lack of patriotism that that liberal species has. How can one even consider a "person" who shows disrespect to his own country to hold a political opinion that is anywhere near correct.

He refuses to raise his hand because he does not consider his country worth the effort.

Those of you liberals who think that this is a lie from the "evil conservatives":

Look, there isn't even a Fox news clip there. (Not that I would expect you to see that as your ability to read is questionable.)

Edit: A thumbs down. Looks like there is a liberal who doesn't like others proving him wrong. I wonder why it doesn't stike him as far more efficient to affiliate himself with the party that is correct...

He intends that America should be socialist, like Hillary wants, but just doesn't know how to go about it. One thing I can say about Obama, is he is at least honest. He doesn't love American values, and he proves it by not putting his hand on his heart for the sake of nationalism, and the beliefs we hold as a free people. At least we KNOW where he's coming from. I advocate him in NO way, by the way, but Hellary is a liar, true and fit. She put her hand on her heart, but didn't face the flag. WTF does she think she's fooling????? Not me!

Bert T: "Picking gnat poop out of pepper" GREAT saying! I may steal it.

I have never noticed this about Obama. It wouldn't suprise me either way, but I am not voting Democrat in any event, so I don't care, personally.

Why, instead, don't you attack his policies? They are weak, and his solutions are worse than the problems he claims to solve.

BTW, fudge the Pledge of Allegiance!!! Who gives a damn about a pledge designed to elicit robotic allegiance to a country? This land was built on personal freedom, not submission to authority.

he never did the pledge before, he was the kid who sat down during it laughing at everyone who stood up

He does.

Look online and you will find pictures where he does do that. They just caught him once not doing it and the con media is making a big deal of it.

That is true. I've seen photos. He believes he owes no nation allegiance. Yet, he wants to lead our nation. Go figure!
