I just got a new Rubik's cube and it's already starting to stick. So, I want to lubricate it with graphite. Do I either apply it with a little brush or do I remove one piece, dump some in there, and remove it after a few solves?

Sounds messy. Didn't know you could remove parts. I would suggest moving it to out of line so crack surfaces are exposed and use the liquid graphite sold for locks either as drips or spray can and put a little drop or spray on each surface, working over a cloth, then exercise the Cube through various changes, letting any extra drop out and wipe the Cube off.
