I thought I got rid of it but I think I have a new thing coming on. What are you doing to nurse yourself to better health if you have one?

First cold I've ever had..lots of orange juice, chicken broth..Tylenol.and I just was told zink tablets....Kleenex by the car load.....and lots of warm tea..

(hand up) ME! This is day 3.... and i just wanna cry.... So far the only thing I've done is to use a little benadryl and some pain meds for the soreness all the coughing is causing. That's causing some drosiness, which helps a little bit. I don't know what else to do......except to sleep. And I have a terrible time with that. Any suggestions?????

sorry you're not feeling well.
I'm too insane for a virus to even think about trying to live in me. Its been a long time since I've been sick, other than mentally that is, but I just took the over the counter stuff & rested in and around the bed. I have scads of sick days & I used them. The colds seem to run its course.. but you have to remain still enough to get your immune system strong enough to put that cold on its back.

When I get a cold, i let it blow over on its own. I havent taken cold medicine in five years and my immune system is actually stronger. It takes longer for me to get sick, and when i do, it isnt that bad.
And i like having a cold. I like the stuffy nose feeling and everything. its just a different feeling from the norm.

Ive been fighting one all month I thought I had it beat when I ninja kicked it , but then it drop kicked me in the face ...and then all hell broke loose and now everybody's sick.

I have had Bronchitis forever and still have the cough. I wonder if it will ever go away.
