Have you seen the film "American Gangster"?
I want to see it, but mostly to watch that beautiful and talented
Denzel Washington. Crowe in not bad, himself! )I digress)...If you have seen it, do you recommend it? What grade # of stars do you give it? What did you think, overall, it is a must see, or not? Details would help . . so feel free to describe!

Well, Jay Jay, the guy Crowe, has settled down, is supposedly very happily and responsibly married . . so I believe, that he may feel a bit more comfy to just relax! Add on a few pounds! You know they have some pretty hefty and good tasting beer, Down Under! And in Gladiator he was in some kind of corseted/armour so it cinched in him a wee bit! I do believe, he is Still a D@mn good-good looking man.
Denzel, however will always be my fantasy ganster, no matter how bad he plays it! I also hear he is quite the sweetie at heart and a solid family man! To me, he is simply gorgeous!!!
But thanks for the suggestion to see it, and the pretty high rate you gave it. I think I'll go see it, then, this weekend. A real feast for the eyes, I now anticipate!

Jo201, if to everything Denzel is one can add his brilliance, he's my man!!!
And Mr. Grooves thank for the groovies! That settled it, I have to go see it. I like long movies which absorb my eyes right out of their sockets. I don't mind my pair of eyes stuck to the screen, Not for this flick!

AWESOME movie. both of them were amazing, though Crowe's been putting on the pounds since his gladiator days, don't you think?
I would probably give it 4 stars...it felt a bit long while i was in the theater--it didn't go by quickly. Like if you watch gladiator it's a long movie but you're captured by it and don't realize you've been watching a long movie. this one felt a little long though.
Go see it it's amazing! You won't regret it.

Haven't seen it yet but my brother put a copy on my computer just today he said its brilliant a bit long but def worth a watch
