My last period started November 17th & it lasted 5 days as usual Yesterday I had cm and it was clearish/yellowish kina stretchy/sticky, my husband & I also had sex last night Today I'm way dryer than I was yesterday. My cycles on average last about 26 days. One cycle was 26, the next 31, & my last one was 24 days. Based on mymonthlycycles.com my fertile time started yesterday or today. I refuse to buy ovulation kits, It's too late to chart my temps. I don't want to try that hard. I want to base timing off of my body signals. Also, that "ovulation pain" doesn't come at the time of my ovulation. Last cycle we had sex the day before & the day of "my ovulation pain" & well my period started 4 days later. I guess it was a period pain
Ok, so I guess my questions are, does cm change a little the day after sex? Does the color of cm matter at all with fertility time? Should we just have sex every other day this for the next week or so? FYI I'm on cycle day 11 today.

Any real help is appreciated. Sorry it is so long, but better to be thorough than not get enough information.

I tried fertility friend and my free trial period is over and of course they've made it really hard to sign up again.

All I know is that my body is constantly confusing me. I think it's more my mind is confusing my body. I bought ovulation kits just to try to see if I could determine time of O, and I temped for a while but I'm a mouth breather and refuse to temp vaginally.
I am due for my period on day 40 I have tested since 10 DPO and all negatives. It's really P!ssin me off. I have thoroughly convinced myself I'm pregnant even getting the swollen tender breasts.

You should have sex every other day until O day. Then they say to do it like bunnies on O day..

Hope that clears some confusion.. Probably not but maybe.

Since you're confused by your body's signs, yes, I would say just keep having sex every other day this week and maybe even next.

I know you refuse to use OPKs and don't want to chart and "try that hard" but unless you get in better tune with your body's signals you're always going to be confused. Getting pregnant is easy for some women but not all.

What I would suggest is that you give in for 2 cycles (3 would be better, but I won't push it) and chart and use OPKs. Take REALLY GOOD notes as to what's going on with your body and when. The OPK will give you advanced notice that ovulation is coming and charting your temps will confirm that it happend and when. Couple those with noting all your signs and symptoms and when they occur during your cycle and, believe me, you'll be in a much better place. You may even find yourself pregnant because you've figured it out. But if you don't, it won't be long because at least you won't be confused by your body any more.

After a couple of cycles (again, 3 would be better) you will see your own body's unique pattern and will know what's going on with your hormones on most days during your cycle. At that point, you can toss out your thermometer and test kits and go solo. But at least you would have learned the difference between ovulation paid and imminent period pain.

Try Fertility Friend.com. They have a great charting program that's real easy to use. All you do is plug in your temps and symptoms, the software does the rest.

Good luck.

Well to be honest with you, I thought hey im 31 i know all there is to know....well then trying to get pregnant im more confused at 31 about my period then when i was 16! you have to chart and do temps, and figure out when your ovulating.

As for the anwser, you should have sex every other day when you are ovulation, CM changes alot during that time, and I dont beleive that the color would matter.

Me, I'm suppose to be taking control of my body but it seems as if my body is taking control of me, I mean I wish I could just pull those stupid hormones out and put them back in place, I have pcos and don't no when I'm ovulating nor when I'll be getting my next cycle
