loestrin 24 early period?

I started taking Loestrin 24 two weeks ago, and saturday I started to spot, but yesterday it was full blown heavy bleeding,and it is still heavy, did my period start early?

This sounds like breakthrough bleeding which can act a lot like a period but isn't. Breakthrough bleeding can occur because of trying to adjust to being on the pill.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
