For global we are learning about Napolean and we have to write an essay comparing him with another leader and i saw that he was similar to Ceasar. Could anyone help elaborate or have anything i could use?

They both were military men. Caesar came to prominence and power by leading the military. Napoleon came to prominence and power by leading the military.

They both had remarkable charisma. Caesar's army was the first to invade Rome for a long time, it was overthrowing a government that was impressive. For him to lead his troop to do that had to have taken some real influence. Napoleon united France, led a nation with a terrible record in battle to stunning victories, and then after being taken down and exiled, came back and did it again.

They both left an empire that broke down. France continued in its turmoil over government after Napoleon was gone. Rome fell into turmoil and civil war until Octavius defeated Mark Antony.

They both depended heavily on miltery strenght and ruled with a firm dictorship without appearing as if their was a dictator
They also controlled a vast empire and lived by the saying "i came, i saw, i conquered"
