Redskins. You don't hear of white players getting shot. What's up with this?

It's not a racist comment, it's a true statement. You take the truth to be racist, that's your own hang-up, not mine. I was simply stating the truth, both Taylor and Williams were killed, both were black and shot. There's an old expression, that I think Snoop Dog said. "You can take a brotha out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of a brotha" I think that pretty much sums all of this up.

Many more have been murdered, especially black college football players. The past 2 or 3 years, I read about several. I can't think of the names now, but I could do some research and easily find the names.

while I think you are trying to be confrontational here, it is a fact that black and white culture in the USA has it's differences. I think the overreactions by the people who answered before me are a little harsh, but other than Darrent Williams, who else has been murdered? It doesn't seem to be "all these black NFL players"

All these black players?! Two; there have been two. Darrent Williams was killed in a drive-by, and Sean Taylor by an armed intruder. It's not like there's a bunch of Klu Klux clan members killing black NFL players. It's an unfortunate tragedy that both of those players were killed.

It really has nothing to do with race. It's related to the environment that they grow up in. Violence all around and not many fathers being involved all are contributing factors. We'd all probably be surprised that this happens more often then we think even among Caucasians and Hispanics, but because he's a star football player the media latches on and pounds the story into our heads.

This question is somewhat racist and offensive.

It's probably just luck of the draw. The NFL is about 60% black, so it's not unlikely that if just a few players get shot, they will all be black.

He was shot in his house its not like he was clubbing or anything. Also think before you speak on **** that you dont know **** about. Were you thieir when Darrant got shot or when Taylor was shot.Stop making it into a race thing. I really hope you are not trying to do this just for a kick because if you are i hope from the bottom of my heart that you burn in hell.R.I.P. Sean Taylor

Umm, this is not an issue of race in any way. Trying to turn it into one is idiotic. To you, sir, I say as well. Please eat a bowl of poison cereal immediately!!

Yes "All these black NFL players"....all TWO of them. You didn't take math in school did you? TWO is not a high enough number to make a statistical sample so it just shows how quick you are to jump to racial bias. You are S-T-U-P-I-D! The issue has NOTHING to do with race and the fact that you assume it does is what makes you racist! Sorry, but you aren't just "stating a fact" you are bringing race into a non-racial issue in order to advance your own personal racist beliefs. That's the truth......and it IS your hang-up not everybody else's there Daniel Carver.........

Most athletes come from poor neighborhoods where crime is an everyday occurrence, some of these players never leave that life behind, like Michael Vick, because of that their affiliations with the gangsta element stays with them,it's a shame because all their lives they strive to better themselves, and when they get the opportunity, they don't take advantage of it
