It's pretty sad that this is the second NFL player this year to be murdered. I have a feeling that Sean Taylor isn't the last one.

I feel the players get themselves into this, neither players had very good records.

Who else thinks this is going to keep happening?

By saying "the broncos guy" I mean the guy on the broncos who got shot in January.

i was never a fan of Talor and yes i agree he didnt have a good track record but like Joe Gibbs says, he has improved his off the field activities.

but how did he get himself into this?

this isnt pacman jones shooting up a strip club.

this was a cold blood murder(yes he may not have died instantly but murder is still murder people!) home evasion and even more important a senseless killing.

if you arent safe in your own home, then there is no such thing as safe.

R.I.P. taylor.

Both of their deaths were certainly tragic, but I really don't think you can put these deaths into the same category. Sean was killed by an intruder in his house, possibly a burglar. The killer probably didn't enter Taylor's house to shoot him. Darrent Williams, on the other hand, was killed by what was essentially a drive-by shooting, with multiple shots fired at him in his car.

I don't think people are going to start murdering NFL stars whenever they step out of their houses.

I do.. you're absolutely right in saying it won't be the last time this happens.. it is very sad.

this a mean thing to say, I and dont mean it towards all football players. I dont mean to generalize, but with a good many football and basketball players " you can take the man out of the inner city, but you cant take the inner city out of the man" they are plucked out of an dangerous way of life just because they play ball, and they get lots of $$$ , big homes and cars, but still have a " ghetto" lifestyle.. it tends to get them shot at or worse, killed..

dissapointing, isn't it. but i stand up for sean taylor. he had a less than pristine record but he didn't go looking for trouble the night he got shot.

i think the favorite is pacman jones

first of all sean taylor played for the redskins. i don't think this will keep happening because it probably had to do with this person's life outside of football.

Peyton Manning is heavily involved in gangs, so I think he'll be next.
