There are two sounds that make all of the hair on the back of my neck stand on end IN ADDITION TO nails on a chalkboard...
The first is the sound of a knife or fork scraping against a ceramic plate. It's a high squeal that just pierces through my eardrums and makes me squirm.
The other is probably the most ridiculous answer you will get.
The sound of multiple (empty) toilet paper rolls being dropped.
The main portion of my job is inventory. We do an activity with kids where we make a mini constellation viewer with the leftover cardboard toilet paper roll. People bring them to me every day. Sometimes about 20. The sound that they make when they hit my desk gives me chills. *shudders*

Yep there is! Every single Christmas I hear this high pitched shrill voice saying " Yoo hoo Im here" and its my mother in law! WAY worse than a chalk board and fingernails

That doesnt bother me as much as hearing people chew with their mouth wide open!!!!!! Drives me up the wall!

i hate that. but i also hate the feeling of nails on a peice of paper. it gives me goosebumps. i hate it!
