I am turning 26 on Christmas, is that late 20s or am I still in my mid 20s?

It's mid 20's. Anything past 26 is late 20's.

I would say mid 20's. After 26 I would consider it late 20's.

Still mid. Basically, as I see it, decades are divided into three-ish parts:
20-23: Early 20s
24-26: Mid 20s
27-29: Late 20s
