Could someone please tell me, why would a hospital contact you back after going through series of testing and finding a Cyst on my Pancreas, and being re-assured that you will be fine, that's it's just a Cyst, and you will need a follow up in three months. This was a couple of weeks ago, when I was told this. Now yesterday I was called from the hospital in regards to them needing back as soon as I can to get an Ultra-Sound on my Pancreas again. Radiologists needs to see my Pancreas again, so soon. Could it be that my MRI was mis-diagnosed? I have already had two Ultra-Sounds and one MRI within a couple of months when they first diagnosed the Cyst. Now I have to go again this week, when I'm not due for any future testing for another two and half months? You think that the radiologist caught something after I left the hospital from my results being told to me? This is scarey now, here I'm thinking I'm out of the woods, and now I'm called back in to do the same testing over the same Cyst

DO NOT GET CRAZY OVER WHAT YOU DO NOT KNOW.

Obviously they feel it is wise to take another look. Be smart and patient, and have another look. It can just as easily be nothing.

My Husband had a melanoma removed off his scalp in Sept.
Then he had a CT scan, then a PET scan then a Sonogram.
It took that many because the CT scan showed spots on both lungs, his liver and his lower lymph nodes. Melanoma is very aggressive. WE ARE NOT YOUNG BUT WE WERE SCARED. We were already looking at how long he had left.

After all the other tests and a total diagnosis we learned the lungs have scars from smoking when we were very young, the nodes showed nothing the in the second tests and the liver turned out to be a tangle of veins and not a tumor. So for 8 weeks we were at the doctor, hospital or testing 5 out of 7 days a week. Now we are resting for retesting in January just to be safe. This is just to let you know, be patient and just go back, Pray do not worry, all you get with worry is upset.

God bless and good luck.

Play it safe. Get the ultrasound. Better safe than sorry.
