N O!! The US Military and the Pentagon DOES NOT want the draft, only a few democrats want the draft, ie, Rangels of New York is one democrat
that brought it to the floor for a vote and it was defeated!!

I was in the military, most of the men and women there are poor, poor working class and minorities. The veterans benefits are probably the reason most join. Since the wealthy don't need benefits, It is mostly the the poor who die on the battlefield. Let's get a draft so everyone has a chance to take a bullet for old glory.

When republicans are in office they have volunteers flocking to sign up for the military.
When democrats are in office, they're so disliked (and they cut the spending so much) most anyone with any brains avoids the military... That's when democrats invoke the draft.

I sure hope not. I don't think anyone should have to be put in a situation where they might have to kill others against their will. A volunteer-only military is a blessing. I think it helps ensure that those in the armed forces are dedicated to the work they do.

Only if the Democrats have their way. Their the ones that make the proposals like Charlie Rangles. IF the Dems are in leadership, the military suffers and the enlistments drop off.

I sure hope so...I hedged a big purchase of stock in the company that makes Depends...I figure when the draft is announced there will be a run on that product by liberals fleeing into Canada screaming and wetting their pants.

We already have a backdoor draft.
You create a system that makes it harder for the poor to survive, then use massive propaganda to "give them a way out" via the armed forces.

I don't think The USA will. Unless we attack Iran, then I feel it would become necessary due to the casualty numbers.
