1 time for me, in August, my daughter called 911 when she was grounded to her room.

when he showed up she said, 'well, i hung up because i knew you couldn't help me with this problem'.

My 10 year old twins were escorted home by the police because they were on the high school campus, streaking between the football goal posts!!

Yeah. My big brother beat on our door with a baseball bat on christmas eve- in the middle of the night! My parents called the police. I was little then, and scared to death when the policemen showed up.
And a couple months ago a policeman showed up and said he wanted to question my dad. We all were so shocked. It turned out that while my big brother ( a different one) was out driving my dads truck, he, with out knowing, passed by a house that had just been robbed, and the robbers truck was described as a white ford pickup! A neighbor saw my brother, thought he was the thief, took down his license plate number, and called the police. They later caught the real thief.
I was by our window when the police SUV came down the road. I thought, "I wonder where they're going?". Then they pulled down our driveway!

I've had a cop knock on my door several times. We have a neighbor who likes to call the cops if my car bumper is hanging over the sidewalk a few inches, or if somebody in my household is holding a coat hanger when confronting her, she'll call the cops and file an complaint saying she was assaulted.

haha that is pretty funny. Yeah i've had to deal with the police at my door twice. Once was for a noise violation and the second time, my roomate was dealing XTSY and I didn't know and we had like five or six officers walk into my condo and arrest him. He had like 50 hits of it and is in jail for I believe 20+ years. Scary stuff.

Yes! Somehow the phone got knocked off the hook and the operator ended up on the line. When no one answered the operator, she notified the police. I'm to this day not sure why. It seems odd to me, but there they were at 2am on a Wednesday night.

I came home and had the police waiting for me cause my daughter played peeping tom on the neighbor, and called 911 when she say them smoking pot. I had to show my 11 y/o daughter my stash, and tell never to go through ushes spying on the neighbors, cause she is the one could have gotten in trouble!!!!

Animal control woke me up last month looking for my "loose" dog. When I opened the door, my dog licked the officers. Not a problem as the neighbors dog is who they were after and she had attacked the truck when they arrived. Whoever made the report gave the wrong address.

Yes, a neighbor who was out of town had a car alarm noise that kept on going. The police was trying to locate which unit they lived in.

I may have had to call home once or twice but my sisters story beets all three of mine! She opted to not call home because our parents would have killed her. Only one was with the police for me, others were with school officials. But her's is still the best!
