NO NO NO NO been there done that ... live and learn
3 years ago bought 3 pcs and a laptop from Dell. Out of all that, only 1 pc works to this day. The 3k laptop first lost the motherboard... replaced it... then the harddrive.... then the LCD screen went out.
My sister bought a HP expensive pc last year and it is complete garbage also... it hasnt died yet but for the amt of gig, etc.. it is slow as xmas.
Next time I buy, I'm going to buy a Gateway.

I have 4 Dell's and nothing has ever gone wrong with them. This laptop (Compaq) the most expensive and supposedly a top of the range laptop always breaks! Next time I'm getting another Dell.

Well, I agree, support and everything sucks pretty hard, and cooling systems on Dells, aren't great either. However, they DO have a minuscule amount of good PCs. I like the new XPSs, although HP's new Blackbird 002 is better, but both are expensive.

I already own one.And no they do not suck as it has no mouth to do as such.I believe that they are they only ones that stand behind their products with 24x7help online or by phone and in person.I have a compaq at work and it has been infected with spyware and viruses at least three times from the compaq network in the building.

I have two Dell Computers a desk top and a lap top. They are both several years old. I have not had any problems what so ever out of them but my next computer will be an Apple.

I bought my son a dell laptop and it seems to be totally awesome! Plsu they offer 1 year maintenance free of charge so thats good- noone else offers that. I think it all depends on which computer u decide to buy and what extras u r willing to pay for ya know?

I bought a Dell a while back. Customer service sucked so I went back to Circuit City and bought an HP when I needed an upgraded pc. Gateway is the same too.

I am using a Dell Computer right now. I don't like the idea of having to contact them everytime I need supplies, such as printer ink, etc.

Dell used to be okay but sucks bigtime now. Their support and customer service is the worst in the industry, too.
