Donate food to charity places?All through December I will make a BIG pot of vegetable,bean, potato or chicken noodle soup and take to the Salvation Army(once a week) to add to their lunches that they give to the less fortunate.

I typically don't donate food to charity places seeing how I have a hard time this year myself, but I do donate clothing, and anything good that I feel will help another family. What you are doing is very special I being from a social work background can certainly appreciate someone like you. Merry Christmas and God Bless.

I give canned and boxed goods but never prepared food.
The Salvation Army is a favorite of mine. Their money goes to the streets and they help the poorest in our society. When you see the bell ringer this year get out your wallet, they do good work

every fall our town has a food drive where you leave a bag of non perishable foods on your front stoop and they get so much food they fill up the food banks for miles around. The postmen do the same thing every spring. plus we have General Mills and Quaker Oats, Cargil, Ralston Purina. which donate. But more people should do what you do.
