no, a box simply comes up asking if you want to delete cookies, passwords etc.

No, not everything. You are in the right place, but you would also have to delete files and cookies too if you want to wipe out ALL traces.

Also if you have Windlws XP delete the files in the Prefetch folder as anyone who knows how to read them can tell what programs you have used and such.
